Leucadia Farmers Market is a Sunday’s market at Paul Ecke Elementary School. You’ll find 75 vendors with various fresh organic produce, foods, local artisans, and a food court a wide array of breakfast and lunch choices.

  • Self Realization Fellowship Hermitage & Meditation Garden

This zen garden is rated #1 on Trip Advisor and it’s easy to see why. Relaxing, peaceful, serene, this garden located on the bluff offers breathtaking views of the coast. There are also koi ponds and waterfalls, ideal places for meditation.

High Country Villa 55+ Community

The High Country Villas community was built between 1973 to 1985. This beautifully landscaped community offers a total of 548 attached homes and condos spread throughout 12 acres. The attached homes are for the 55+.

 One of the perks of living in this community is its beautifully-maintained surroundings. Well-manicured trees and park-like green belts with walking trails and gorgeous views make this community more appealing to its residents.

55+ homes in High Country Villas in 2021 range from the mid $500,000’s to $800,000. They tend to sell very quickly.

One of the advantages of living in an active adult neighborhood is low maintenance. The HOA takes care of the maintenance of the homes, including the roofs, sidings, grounds, and fences.

As a resident, you have to pay two HOA fees each month. One fee is for the monthly maintenance of the common areas, grounds, exterior parts of the buildings, roof, etc. The other HOA is an additional fee which goes to the upkeep of Village Park Recreation Club amenities.

There are very homes for sale in High Country Villas. When you do find a home for sale, you’ll find these homes to be clean and renovated. Many of the homes offer an open floor plan, with glass sliders leading to good-sized patios.

The homes are sometimes sold with furnishings and almost always with appliances like stove, fridge, and microwave.
